The right wheel and tire combination can improve your skills and increase the performance of your e-bike in challenging terrain. The new E-Deemax R 30 is designed specifically for e-bikes and features some unique technologies that help you ride smoother and have more fun on the trail.
The patented PFP (Pinch Flat Protection) technology features rims with a wider contact area on the top of the sidewall to significantly reduce the risk of tire cuts and punctures. The 30mm wide rims allow for lower tire pressure for better traction and smooth rolling. Patented Fore technology features a fully sealed upper rim web that eliminates the need for rim tape, making it the easiest system for mounting and changing tubeless tires.
ISM rim machining removes material from the rims in strategic locations to minimize weight without compromising strength, and the new Black Shield treatment protects the rims from impacts and scratches. Mavic uses 28 straight-pull spokes (equal spoke length throughout) for a strong connection between rim and hub, which features the ultra-reliable ID360 dual ratchet system for quick engagement and acceleration. These 29" wheels are set up for either 6-bolt or center-lock disc mounts, available for Shimano HG9, XD and Micro Spline freehub bodies, and come with UST tubeless valves, spare spokes and accessories.

Wider 30mm rim (inside) adds stiffness and cornering precision. Designed for the added torque of e-bike motors with 28 triple cross threaded spokes that further increase lateral stiffness.

Most user-friendly tubeless system
Fully sealed rim without rim tape makes it easier to mount and change tubeless tires. Leaving the upper rim web increases the stiffness and durability of the rim.
