An aggressive tread pattern on a large volume carcass, designed for good traction but fast enough for racers. Large blocky shoulder lugs bite into fast corners with plenty of edges. The tread centre has bevelled lugs to minimise rolling resistance. 

Exo Protection
This extremely cut and abrasion resistant material protects the sidewall of various MTB tyres. It is very tightly woven, light and very flexible. As a result, the performance of the tyres remains convincingly good.

3C Maxx Speed
Our fastest 3C compound for XC and some AllMountain / Enduro tyres is designed for lowest rolling resistance due to the hard base and the fast compound in the centre of the tread, but with the grippy compound on the sides it also offers superior grip in corners, even in wet conditions. The very long service life is also typical of MAXXIS.
