You want an all-round racing tyre that rolls very well, is very light, but also offers grip in almost every situation? The Aspen is Maxxis' answer to this requirement profile. In the centre of the tread, narrow, slightly angled lamellar studs alternate with small, angled block studs. They redefine the ideal combination of traction and light rolling. Seen in the direction of travel, the side cleats run in groups of two from the outside to the inside. This special arrangement provides significantly more grip in curves.

Foldable bead core
Rings made of Kevlar or another aramid fibre also hold the tyres securely on the rim. Reduced weight and easy transport due to small packing size are advantages.

Dual Compound
Two different rubber compounds are processed into a tread strip. The arrangement of the compounds is planned according to the desired properties of the tyres.

Tubeless Ready
Tubeless tires have many advantages: you can drive with less air pressure and thus have better traction, the rolling resistance is lower than with tubing, and where there is no tubing, the risk of puncture also decreases. Maxxis TR tyres are better prepared for mounting with sealing milk than other "tubeless ready" tyres, because the bead is completely covered with a rubber layer, like a real UST tubeless tyre. This means that the tubeless mounting is successful on all rims that comply with the standard dimensions with the first inflation and with little liquid.

EXO Protection
This extremely cut and abrasion resistant material protects the sidewalls of various MTB tyres. It is very densely woven, lightweight and very flexible. The performance of the tires remains convincingly good.
