Maxxis DHR II Folding Tyre 29x2.40" WT DD TR 3C MaxxTerra black

With completely new tread pattern, Minion DHR II is the ideal tyre for aggressive gravity driving. With the side studs of the legendary DHF, which have been widened slightly for better cornering grip, this Minion DHR II has extreme cornering grip. The centre studs have tapered lugs for better acceleration. Notches on the cleats improve the transition when turning into corners. Some of the centre studs have a paddle shape, they dig into the ground during hard braking and help to keep the bike under control.

DOUBLE DOWN
Doubledown tyres are constructed like downhill tyres: two carcass plies reinforced with a butyl insert in the sidewall. However, thanks to two 120 TPI (instead of 60TPI) carcass plies and aramid bead, they are significantly lighter than downhill tyres, much more stable and robust than our TR + EXO tyres and therefore ideal for hard Enduro courses.

3C MAXX TERRA

WIDE TRAIL CASING
The Wide Trail (WT) construction optimises the tread layout and shape of the tyre on today's modern wider rims. Traditional tires are designed for narrow rims and get a too square shape on wide rims, resulting in less than optimal performance. WT tires are optimized for an inner rim width of 35 mm, but work excellently on all rims with an inner dimension between 30 and 39 mm. The following MTB tire widths are available in WT construction: 2.40WT / 2.50WT / 2.60WT wide tires have basically a WT construction, but no WT marking on the tire sidewall.
