Maxxis Dissector Folding Tyre 29x2.40" WT EXO TR 3C MaxxTerra

Troy Brosnan wanted to create a unicorn of hoops. A tire that rolls incredibly fast, cuts precisely through corners and decelerates well when needed. The tread pattern of Rekon, Minion DHF and HighRoller II was taken as a starting point for this and was designed in close cooperation with Troy during the 2018 World Cup season.
The DH version of the DISSECTOR is perfectly suited as a rear tyre, whether for racing or in the bike park.
The trail version also makes sense on the front wheel if you want a front tyre that rolls easily and has good grip.

WIDE TRAIL CASING
The Wide Trail (WT) construction optimises the tread layout and tyre shape on today's modern wider rims. Traditional tires are designed for narrow rims and get a too square shape on wide rims, resulting in less than optimal performance. WT tires are optimized for an inner rim width of 35 mm, but work excellently on all rims with an inner dimension between 30 and 39 mm.

EXO PROTECTION
This extremely cut and abrasion resistant material protects the sidewall of various MTB tyres. It is very tightly woven, light and very flexible. Therefore the performance of the tires remains convincingly good.

3C MAXX TERRA
The right 3C compound for their Enduro and Freeride tyres. Smooth running uphill and best grip downhill characterize this compound as well as a long life span.
