Maxxis DTH Clincher Tyre 20"
Drop-The-Hammer. The first few pedal strokes win the holeshot. The holeshot wins the race. The DTH is super-light to accelerate like no other BMX tire, yet holds up to the abuse you dish out. The dual-compound tread corners incomparably on hard-packed tracks and rolls fast on the straights.
wire bead wire core
The bead core must hold the tyre securely on the rim. High-quality wire is very well suited for this - the disadvantages are: Not foldable and somewhat heavier (approx. 50g more).
Dual Compound
Two different rubber compounds are processed into a tread strip. The arrangement of the compounds is planned according to the desired properties of the tyres.
