Maxxis Grifter Urban Clincher Tyre 29x2.50" MPC

It feels almost suspiciously good: the Grifter is almost half the weight of normal freestyle tyres. This makes tricks much easier and you also save a lot of energy. The 120 TPI high pressure carcass and Dual Compound tread make landings safe at any angle. At the same time, it holds up much longer than other tyres and lasts extremely long. The Grifter is Maxxis’ most popular Freestyler tyre because it rolls well and cushions the large volume of hard landings well too. MPC
The Maxxis Performance Compound is Maxxis all-round compound. This rubber compound also benefits from the development competence of the world's largest bicycle tyre manufacturer and convinces in daily use with a very long service life, grip and maximum reliability.

Wire bead core
The bead core must hold the tyre securely on the rim. High-quality wire is very well suited for this - the disadvantages are: not foldable and slightly heavier (approx. 50g more).
