Product description
Maxxis Minion DHF Folding Tyre 29x2.50" MaxxPro TR EXO
Probably the most ridden and in recent years most successful downhill tyre in the world. The Minion DHF combines proven elements such as bevelled studs for low rolling resistance and smooth running with slotted studs for more grippy edges. This gives it excellent directional stability and precise cornering behaviour. It is the reference for fast tracks, from easy freeride to hard downhill.
Foldable beadcore
Also rings made of Kevlar or another aramid fibre hold the ring securely on the rim. Lower weight and easy transport due to small packing size are the advantages.
MaxxPro
The MaxxPro Compound is the first tyre compound for bicycle tyres in which the components have been extremely finely ground. This mixture is optimal from Allmountain to Downhill: More grip, good damping properties, long service life, low rolling resistance. And no stud demolition - a success of the exclusive Maxxis MaxxPro technology.
EXO Protection
This extremely cut and abrasion resistant material protects the sidewalls of various MTB tyres. It is very densely woven, light and very flexible. Thus the performance of the tyres remains convincingly good.
Tubeless Ready (TR)
Tubeless tyres have many advantages: you can ride with less air pressure for better traction, rolling resistance is lower than with tubing, and where there is no tubing, the risk of puncture is reduced. Maxxis TR tyres are better prepared for mounting with sealing milk than other tubeless ready tyres because the bead is completely covered with a rubber layer like a real UST tubeless tyre. Thus the tubeless mounting is successful with all rims, which keep the standard dimensions, with the first inflation and with little liquid.
