Product description

Maxxis Minion DHR II+ TLR Folding Tyre 27.5x2.80" EXO Dual black (black)

With its all-new tread pattern, Minion DHR II is the ideal tyre for aggressive gravity riding.

With the side studs of the legendary DHF, it has extreme cornering stability. Central, bevelled studs for better acceleration. Notches on the studs improve the transition when turning into curves. Some of the centre studs have a paddle shape, they dig themselves in during hard braking and help to keep the bike under control.

Tubeless Ready
Tubeless tyres have many advantages: you can ride with less air pressure, This gives better traction and reduces rolling resistance. And where there is no inner tube, the risk of a flat also decreases. Maxxis TR tyres are better prepared for mounting with sealing milk than other tubeless ready tyres. The bead of the Maxxis TR tyres is completely covered with a rubber layer, just like a real UST tubeless tyre. This means that the tubeless mounting of all rims with standard dimensions is already successful with the first inflation and with little liquid.

EXO Protection
This extremely cut and abrasion resistant material protects the sidewalls of various MTB tyres. It’s very densely woven, light and very flexible, and thus the performance of the tyres remains convincingly good.

Dual Compound
Two different rubber compounds are processed into a tread strip. Maxxis plans the arrangement of the compounds according to the desired properties of the tyres.

Special Features

Plus sizes

'Plus'/'+' tyres are the wider cousins of typical MTB tyres, with widths of up to 3.0", often sitting on rims up to 40mm wide. The advantages: more grip, comfort and safety while on the trail. Plus tyres borrow some qualities from fatbike tyres without being quite so huge. Conclusion: plus-sized tyres offer more grip on the trail, yet are lighter than fatbike tyres, while still offering the possibility of riding with very low air pressure.
