Maxxis Minion DHR II Folding Tyre 29x2.40" 3C MaxxTerra TR EXO

With a completely new tread pattern, Minion DHR II is the ideal tyre for aggressive gravity driving. With the side studs of the legendary Minion DHF, which were adopted and widened for the DHR II, the DHR II takes to the curves like no other. The flat bevelled centre studs improve acceleration, the notches give a smooth transition when turning in. The paddle-shaped studs in the middle dig in during hard braking and stabilize the bike. Together with the Minion DHF in the front, the DHR II is the ultimate combination for fast riding.

Tubeless Ready
Tubeless tyres have many advantages: You can drive with less air pressure. This gives you more traction and reduces rolling resistance. And where there is no inner tube, the risk of a puncture also decreases. Maxxis TR tyres are better prepared for mounting with sealing milk than other tubeless ready tyres. Like a real UST tubeless tyre, the bead of the Maxxis TR tyres is completely covered with a rubber layer. This means that the tubeless mounting is successful on all rims with standard dimensions even with the first inflation and with little liquid.

EXO Protection
This extremely cut and abrasion resistant material protects the sidewalls of various MTB tyres. It is very densely woven, lightweight and very flexible. The performance of the tires remains convincingly good.

Triple Compound
With Maxxis, the 3C running surface is formed from 3 different rubber compounds in one piece and is not subsequently joined together from two strips. This means that the treads can be moulded exactly to the requirements of the respective tyre model and the driving characteristics optimised.

Wide Trail
The Wide Trail construction optimises the tread layout and tyre shape on today's modern wider rims. Traditional tires are designed for narrow rims and are too angular on wide rims for optimal performance. All Maxxis WT tyres are optimised for an inner rim width of 35 mm, but function perfectly on all rims with an inner diameter between 30 and 39 mm.
