EXO Protection
This extremely cut and abrasion resistant material protects the sidewall of various MTB tyres. It is very tightly woven, light and very flexible. As a result, the performance of the tyres remains convincingly good.

TUBELESS READY
Tubeless tyres have many advantages: You can ride with less air pressure and thus have better traction, the rolling resistance is lower than with an inner tube, and where there is no inner tube, the risk of punctures also decreases. MAXXIS TR tyres are better prepared for mounting with sealant than other tubeless ready tyres, because the bead of the TR tyres is completely covered with a rubber layer. This means that tubeless mounting is successful with all rims that comply with the standard dimensions, with the first inflation and with little liquid. Normal MAXXIS MTB tyres can also be mounted tubeless with sealant, just like tyres from other manufacturers, because the carcass fabrics are very dense. However, only the new MAXXIS TR models are officially approved for tubeless mounting and guaranteed by MAXXIS; tubeless mounting of other models is at your own risk.
