Maxxis Rekon Race Folding Tyre 29x2.25" EXO TR black

The latest in a long line of XC tyres that have already won a World Cup race. This fast semi slick tyre has a similar profile to the Allround XC tyre Rekon, but with smaller and lower studs. Use it as a rear tyre together with a more profiled tyre such as Rekon or Ikon on the front wheel. Or front and rear for ShortTrack races and light fast race tracks.

Exo Protection
This extremely cut and abrasion resistant material protects the sidewalls of various MTB tyres. It is very densely woven, lightweight and very flexible. The performance of the tires remains convincingly good.

Dual compound
Two different rubber compounds are processed into a tread strip. The arrangement of the compounds is planned according to the properties of the tyres.

Tubeless Ready
Tubeless tyres have many advantages: You can drive with less air pressure. This gives better traction and reduces rolling resistance. And where there is no inner tube, the risk of a puncture also decreases. MAXXIS TR tyres are better prepared for mounting with sealing milk than other tubeless ready tyres. The bead of our TR tires is completely covered with a rubber layer like a real UST tubeless tire. This means that the tubeless mounting of all standard rims is already successful with the first inflation and with little liquid.
