Maxxis Shorty Clincher Tyre 27.5x2.40" DH 3C MaxxGrip

World Cup courses today are steep, technical monsters with constantly changing conditions. The pros needed a mid-spike tyre that could handle dry, loose and ridden corners as well as a little mud. The Shorty is such a tyre. A large volume double ply carcass makes it more versatile than the Maxxis mud tyre WetScream. Large, high and slightly staggered side studs penetrate loose ground and ensure predictable navigation of bends at the speed of light. The centre on the tyre features alternating rectangular and square knobs, which offer great grip during braking as well as excellent self-cleaning.

Dual Compound
Two different rubber compounds are processed into a tread strip. Maxxis plans the arrangement of the compounds according to the desired properties of the tyres.
