Product Description
The ultralight single-person Access 1 tent for four seasons is designed primarily for skiers, split boarders and snowshoe hikers. It is lighter than a mountaineer tent and warmer than a backpack tent for three seasons. The tent offers plenty of comfort for cold winter nights without excessive weight. Its frame with high support function in the middle area can withstand the weight of snow well and offers sufficient space for the equipment. It offers ideal protection for use in winter below the tree line. Access 1 is an ideal compromise between high heat and light weight.

My first one-man tent for trekking tours. I like the weight and easy assembly / disassembly due to the construction of the load-bearing structure and the attached inner tent. The weather ability I could not test yet, remains exciting :-)

Hello people, what's up, Several days ago I bought my first "serious" tent, and after looking at various models, prices and opinions I decided to access MSR 1 for one person. How could it be otherwise I tried it last weekend on the mountain. The temperature ranged between 12º during the day and 0º during the night with a covered floor of about 30cm of snow. In principle the use that I am going to give it is not directed exclusively to the snow but to cold and windy environments although not purely winter. The store mounts very easily in less than 10 minutes (with practice should be 5 min.). It is very light (according to manufacturer 1.6kg) at the same time as solid, gives a feeling of robustness. In addition it is a load that hardly shows in the weight of the backpack being a tent. The interior space is quite good, it allows me to sit and still have a span of freedom between my head and the roof of the store (mido 1.83). It has an apse large enough to leave the boots and the backpack, and the entrance, formed by a perimeter rack up to half of one of its faces, allows freedom of movement to leave and enter without restrictions. It has been evaluated as a winter tent, but honestly, if you do not wear a good sleeping bag ... there is nothing to do. It is true that the fabric that forms the inside of the tent limits the entrance of wind (and therefore of cold), but at 0 ° the cold is noticed in the same way. I had condensation during the night in the outer tent, but only on the side of the entrance, and also on the red fabric inside the tent, not so on the rest of the fabric (white) that envelops the entire inner tent, though very Cold to contact had no trace of moisture. Possibly with the acquisition of the "footprint" is limited the cold of the interior, also making of insulation with the cold floor. The next test will be the real one, in the Pamir Mountains in Tajikistan, perhaps to expose to my return another assessment much more accurate than it is in my judgment, a very good tent. It is light, sturdy and spacious ... of course, everything has a price, so I hope it lasts many years, of course, with many good adventures.
