Die neuentwickelten Newmen Lenker haben einen stärkeren Upsweep als üblich und erreichen dadurch eine bessere Handgelenksposition für weniger Ermüdung, ohne dass die Lenker exzessiven Backsweep aufweisen. Im Gegensatz zu Lenkern mit stärkerem Backsweep (12° oder mehr), erlaubt die neue Lenker- Geometrie aggressive Abfahrtspositionen ohne Handgelenkfehlstellungen. Der erhöhte Komfort in neutraleren Positionen bleibt dennoch erhalten. Newmen bieten ausschließlich Lenker mit 31.8 mm Durchmesser an, weil die Entwickler der Meinung sind, dass 35 mm Durchmesser den Komfort eines Lenkers deutlich verringern und gleichzeitig für mehr Gewicht oder schlechtere Haltbarkeit bei Impacts sorgen.
