Unless stated otherwise all of our bikes and brake accessories are sold according to the EU standard brake setup (right hand rear and left hand front) which is in reverse to UK standard brake setup.
Please note: the majority of our electronic products that come with plugs are fitted with 2-pronged EU plugs as standard. The operating voltage remains the same, however you may require an additional, simple EU to UK adapter to use them

The Kemen e-bike is your reliable, manoeuvrable and versatile companion to cover all your cycling needs. It offers endurance, and plenty of storage space and accompanies you confidently through everyday life. Yet it’s much more than an ordinary everyday item, turning every bike ride into an exciting mini-adventure. Forget annoying rush hour traffic and enjoy the fresh air without getting out of breath. You also enjoy making little detours on the way home or experiencing urban adventures off the asphalt.
Exactly the push you need
With the powerful, efficient EP8 motor, you master even the steepest climbs effortlessly. Even when the bike is heavily loaded, this motor gets you up to speed with confidence. This way you can get to work relaxed and without breaking a sweat. The permanently installed battery in the frame allows up to five hours of long tours, depending on the support level, even if you have a lot of luggage. And, if required, you can increase the range with the separately available Range Extender.
A frame that is thought through to the smallest detail
Orbea uses hydroformed aluminium and polished welds in the construction of Kemen. The shapes and wall thicknesses of the tubes are optimised to strengthen them and reduce unwanted flex. Many of the tubes are tapered towards the center. This saves weight in the less heavily loaded areas of the frame. The complex polishing of the weld seams is not only for visual reasons, it also brings functional advantages in these particularly stressed areas. The shape and structure of the motor case have also been carefully designed, not only to enhance the appearance of the frame but also to provide special protection for the motor. The integrated battery not only saves weight and ensures a slim design, but also increases the torsional rigidity of the frame. All brake lines, shift cables and electronic cables are routed through the inside of the handlebars and frame thanks to the fully integrated cable routing. This not only protects them from damage, but it also contributes to a tidy appearance so you can fully concentrate on your ride.
Diamond or trapezoidal frame
The standard frame with a high top tube provides maximum stiffness for rough terrain and heavier luggage. The frame with a lower top tube makes it easy to get on and off – even with a fully loaded bike.
An e-bike for any terrain and weather
The geometry is a decisive factor for stability and driving dynamics. The Kemen impresses with its robust construction and comfortable and stable seating position as well as offering exquisite steering. The MTB suspension fork offers space for mudguards and wide tyres as well as 100 millimetres of travel for demanding terrain. The tyres are wide enough to give you plenty of grip and narrow enough to get you through the city quickly yet safely. Extended mudguards with an elegant design keep you clean and dry. The SUV version has even wider tyres with a more aggressive tread than the basic version and also a luggage rack that can carry loads of up to 27 kilograms, making it easy to transport heavy loads or fit a child seat. In this way, you’re ready for anything – even off the beaten path.
Integrated lights
The integrated front and rear lights ensure that you are clearly visible both during the day and at night. The additional front headlight is approved according to the regulations of German road traffic licensing regulations and allows you to switch to a high beam without having to take your hand off the handlebar. The super bright brake light ensures maximum safety when you stop.

Range
Can I get 50 miles from one battery charge or even 120? For those interested in buying an e-bike, this is a very important question. Manufacturers try to be as realistic as they can about possible ranges your e-bike may manage on one complete battery charge. In practice, however, the maximum range depends on many different factors. As well as the type of motor you have, factors include the energy content (400 or 500 Wh), handling and age of the battery. However, the rider's weight, sitting position, riding style (starting frequency, cadence) and selected support levels (Eco, Tour, Sport, Turbo) all greatly influence the range. Last but not least, the track profile (uphill or flat), the ground (road or terrain), wind (headwind, tailwind) and even tyre profile effect distances possible. This makes it extremely difficult to provide precise and reliable information.
