Please note: all of our bike models come with an EU standard brake setup. This will need to be reversed to comply with UK cycling standards.
Do not worry about small profit
Why pay attention to the small details when the Orbea Orca Aero offers a giant leap forward in terms of optimising the overall cycling package? This machine does not outwit the wind, it literally turns it off. The Orca Aero is an ode to power and stiffness that challenges an unleashed 1700-watt target sprint. It's the perfect partner for cyclists who want to get to the top. Always. For cyclists who prefer to attack at the front rather than hide in the back of the field. A bike to reach for victory and celebrate your love of the road. Discover a machine designed for triumph by unleashing its never-imagined power at the decisive moment. Small details can lead to long-term success. But the Orbea Orca Aero wants to win now.
New Freeflow fork
The International Cycling Union (UCI) has relaxed the requirements for the aerodynamic construction of racing bikes and the new Freeflow fork of the Orca Aero takes full advantage of the rule changes.
The specially developed rear end allows the use of flatter tubes. This ensures less turbulence in the down tube.
At the same time, the larger diameter on the down tube improves aerodynamics even in unfavourable wind conditions.
Less air resistance
The flattened outsides reduce the air resistance in the front part of the frame and provide benefits even at low speeds.
ORCA AERO seat post
The Orca Aero's oval seatpost has been specially designed to reduce air turbulence between the legs without compromising damping comfort. The seat post can be mounted in two positions and also offers two saddle mounts with different setbacks. This allows the Orca Aero to adapt perfectly to every rider. Of course, the batteries for electronic circuits can also be mounted in the seat post.
Stiffness / Stable base
Thanks to its optimised frame shape, the new Orca Aero is even more torsion resistant, regardless of frame height.
With its stiffer construction, the Orca Aero also offers better transmission of forces from the pedal to the rear wheel via the crank.
The front of the Orca Aero cuts through the wind. The Orbea stem, handlebars and head tube have therefore been given special attention. For example, with the fully integrated stem and handlebar unit. The handlebars are designed to be particularly easy to adapt to the athlete's needs.
No matter if mechanical or electronic circuits: The well thought-out internal cable routing prevents friction and vibration.
MULTI MOUNT SYSTEM
The Orca Aero is full of clever design ideas. Just like the holes for the bottle holders, which allow different variations for positioning the drinking bottles.
