Unless stated otherwise all of our bikes and brake accessories are sold according to the EU standard brake setup (right hand rear and left hand front) which is in reverse to UK standard brake setup.
Please note: the majority of our electronic products that come with plugs are fitted with 2-pronged EU plugs as standard. The operating voltage remains the same, however you may require an additional, simple EU to UK adapter to use them

The latest generation e-bike convinces with its powerful Shimano STePS E-6100 mid-engine. City bikers not only make faster progress, but can also cover considerably longer distances. In addition to the modern electric drive, the Montreux also convinces above all with its well thought-out detail equipment, which focuses on durability. The Shimano Nexus 8-speed hub gears ensure the right gear selection, while hydraulic Shimano disc brakes ensure absolute reliability at all times and in all weather conditions. The Schwalbe Energizer Plus tires convince with low rolling resistance and very good grip - driving comfort is guaranteed.
The equipment package is rounded off by a Busch & Müller LED front light, a sturdy Racktime luggage rack and high-quality details such as Ergo grips, stem and handlebars as well as a comfortable Selle Royal E-zone saddle. The Shimano Steps drive is a modern mid-engine system, which is characterised by high reliability, a lot of power and long range. The special highlights of the Shimano Steps drive are the pushing aid, the multifunctional display and the long range. The battery is already 80% charged after 2 hours and completely charged after 4 hours. Thanks to the integrated charging station, the battery can be recharged directly on the wheel.

I have now had my bike for a few weeks, and below I list the various pros and cons. This is my second e-bike. My first was a Cube with a Bosch center motor.
+ Internal gears (are much easier to adjust and maintain than external ones)
+ Key for the lock also fits the battery when it needs to be removed.
+ All equipment is on this bike: Fenders, lock, lights, bell, pedals, etc. If you can collect the few things that are missing yourself, it is 100% ready to drive.
+ You don't feel the engine stop helping above 25 km/h. My previous e-bike with Bosch motor was more cash on that front.
+ The saddle is really comfortable to sit on. Soft model from Selle Royal.
+ The handlebars can be tilted up/down so that you get the perfect driving position
The negative part:
- The display can easily be stolen, so this must be taken with you when you leave the bike. Too bad it can't be locked down somehow
- The engine is not so happy with steep hills. It is difficult to maintain a speed of 25 km/h. My old Bosch motor could handle this without any problems.
- The paint is matte, so the bike gets scratches easily.
- The brake calipers are the cheapest on the market and "scrub" quite a bit with use.
- When you switch on the display, it says by default that you should not get help, rather than that it remembered what program it was last on.
- There is a hole in the frame where the brake cable for the rear brake comes out. Unfortunately, it faces upwards, so that dirt, water and salt easily get into the rear fork. I apply a blob of this around the hole: Pattex Kintsuglue Flexible Putty
