Ortler Motala black (black)
Due to bottlenecks and delays in worldwide supply chains, the manufacturer may have replaced individual components from the original specification with equivalent or even higher quality components. Therefore, the bicycle delivered may deviate from the images in certain cases.
The Ortler Motala is a city bike in Scandinavian style. Special emphasis was placed on the high-quality Nexus 7-speed rear hub with Shimano drum brakes front and rear. The advantage of this is clearly the low maintenance and low wear of these parts. A comfortable touring handlebar with ergo grips in combination with the comfortable Selle Royal saddle also make the Motala a popular touring bike.
Special attention was also paid to the fact that wear parts such as the chain and spokes are made of stainless steel, as is customary in Scandinavia. The bike has an LED rear light on the luggage rack, a stable stand, chain guard and AXA LED front lighting.

I've had the Motala for about three or four weeks now and it's very smooth and easy to drive. As others have written, the seat is not very comfortable, but that only becomes a problem if you drive long distances every day. So far, I've been very happy with this bike.

Basically, this bike is pretty good - fast, usable light, not too much maintenance. The only problem is that the rear wheel has broken after approx. 6 months (spokes break). I am afraid that the bike is not suitable for people over a certain weight (about 100kg) - without you as a customer getting any information about it.

Really great bike! Solid construction, beautiful paintwork, roller brakes are a pleasant discovery, little maintenance and a correct and never aggressive braking, the dynamo integrated in the front hub leaves the line of the bike very clean and the 7-speed gearbox inserted in the rear hub and super smooth, you can shift even when standing still and you don't feel any jerk at the start. The only defect found for now is the very hard saddle, I had to replace it with a Selle Royal Respiro. Overall at 449 € it is probably the best in the segment, also because thanks to the generous frame and the large and super stable wheels. Good deal!!!
