The 9-speed gearbox represents an engineering masterpiece made in Germany. Built for eternity, it offers a maximum of low maintenance and durability, with a total transmission ratio of 568% and a transmission weight of 2000 g.

The new design consistently pursues the goal of merging drive and bicycle. The C-Line transmissions are the smallest and most powerful central transmission ever.

The new, compact housing is 33% lighter than aluminium. Highly developed manufacturing processes and highest precision allow the use of an ultra-light magnesium alloy. Of course 100 % made in Germany.

Enduring Ergonomic
Whether it's a daily sprint to the office or a long weekend bike trip, the C-Line is the right companion. The biomechanically optimal support distance (Q-factor) of only 166 millimetres allows sporty and at the same time healthy cycling, because the pedalling force is introduced into the bike in line with the body axis.

Central unit
The design of the new C-Line focuses on optimum integration into modern bicycle frames. This includes the fact that the train guide adapts to the frame design in 3 positions. Brake lines or electric cables can also be routed invisibly past the transmission to the rear end.

As a thank you to our customers, Bikester voluntarily grants an additional 10-year warranty for all VOTEC's owners, Serious, Vermont, Fixie and Ortler bikes from the date of purchase (except the VOTEC VRC which comes with a 6-year warranty on frame and fork). This warranty covers all frames from the year 2013 onwards and guarantees a replacement or repair. Follow-up costs such as assembly and transport are not included. The warranty excludes damage caused by improper use, such as: jumps, falls, overload or neglect. The guarantee expires in the case of unauthorised changes to the frame as well as the installation and conversion of additional components. In addition, a two-year warranty applies to every parts and surface.

I bought one in January 2020. For me the opportunity to try a Pinion gearbox without spending 3000 €. Rest of the bike good value for money. 9 speed is good enough. Even so, I often change two gears at a time. Freewheel is very noisy, annoying but not serious. Great advantage of pinion, no need to think all the time of 'which tray? etc '. Need different speed, we turn the handle, even almost stopped.

J'en ai acheté un en janvier 2020. Pour moi opportunité essayer un boite de vitesse Pinion sans dépenser 3000€. Reste du vélo bonne rapport qualité/prix. 9 vitesse est bien suffisant. Meme comme ca, je change souvent deux vitesses a la fois. Roue libre est très bruyant, embêtant mais pas grave. Grand avantage de pinion, pas besoin de penser tout le temps de 'quel plateau? etc'. Besoin de vitesse different, on tourne la poignée, même presque à l’arrêt.

Ich würde das Fahrrad wieder kaufen. Sehr gute Schaltung. Die Handhabung ist gut, ich kann jedoch nicht freihändig fahren, was mich etwas verblüfft. Zum Teil schon etwas billige Teile, z.B. Schutzbleche. Das Fahrrad ist jedoch den Preis wert.
