E-Bike stems connect head tube and handlebar. Length and angle are crucial for the correct positioning of the rider on the bike and have a direct effect on steering behaviour. The most common type is the ahead stem, which is
mounted directly on the unthreaded steerer, creating a particularly rigid and easy connection. Most are made of aluminium, some high-end models are alternatively made of carbon. A removable front panel allows for easy assembly and disassembly of the handlebar without disassembling the shift and brake levers. For touring or everyday use, there are angle-adjustable Vario stems, for quick adjustment of the handlebar height. Regardless of the design, you should check which handlebar clamping measure you need before purchasing.
