What kind of bike grips are there?

There are two main types of bicycle grips. At the more basic (and more economical) end of the scale, a slide-on bike grip is essentially a simple rubber or silicone tube that fits over the handlebars. The slide-on style is pushed and pulled over your handle bars manually, often with some kind of sticky lubrication to make pushing them on a bit easier.
