Racing bike handlebars - comfort, weight and aerodynamics
The right handlebars are crucial for a comfortable ride. When choosing handlebars, consider the drop and reach. Drop is the distance between the upper and lower parts and reach is the distance to the most-stretched-out position. The width of the handlebars should correspond approximately to the width of the rider's shoulders. While aluminium handlebars are more affordable, carbon handlebars are lighter.
