With tubeless tyres you'll have fewer punctures because the sealant seals smaller punctures by itself. In rare cases, however, when the hole is larger, you'll need something a bit more substantial to plug the gap. With a small, fork-like instrument you stuff a rubber sausage into the hole - the rest is done by the sealant.
