When August Bremicker and his sons first started their small business producing padlocks in the little village of Volmarstein, Germany back in 1924, they couldn’t have imagined just how big their company would one day become.

For more than 85 years now, ABUS has produced its innovative and reliable bike locks under the motto 'Security built on quality’. Nowadays the award-winning company operates on a global scale and employs around 3,500 workers worldwide.
