The P ZERO Velo TUB is the result of several months of intensive development by Pirelli's R&D department, in cooperation with several World Tour PRO riders and their mechanics. All components have been tested, modified and optimally adapted to the surrounding conditions. The P ZERO Velo TUB consists of a 320TPI Corespun with aramid reinforced carcass and a modified latex tube. This has minimized weight, improved rolling resistance and reinforced puncture protection. The new "Yellow Soft" rubber compound also ensures uncompromising handling and unparalleled traction.
The P ZERO Velo TUB is a race-ready, modern tubular tyre, which was developed during the World Tour and already shone in its first year with considerable success.
The tread compound, the tread pattern and its cross-sectional shape are the heart of a tyre's performance: the point of contact between the ground and the bike. The tread pattern consists of a blend of carefully selected and matched chemical components and optimized grooves that contribute significantly to the tyre's outstanding performance. Manufactured from our innovative SmartNET Silica with ICS and FGD techniques, it provides all-round peak performance.
P ZERO Velo TUB features the Yellow Soft rubber compound. A high performance rubber compound specially designed to maximise performance and grip on dry and wet surfaces without compromising rolling resistance.
P ZERO Velo TUB is based on a fine 320TPI Corespun carcass reinforced with aramid fibres, which enhances puncture protection, increases comfort and optimises handling.
P ZERO Velo TUB has an optimized latex inner tube that minimizes rolling resistance and reinforces puncture protection. The dimensions and thickness of the hose have also been optimised. This guarantees better air retention and reduces elongation to guarantee the best puncture protection in its class.
