Product description
Raymon AirRay 10.0 deep red/black (deep red/black)
Due to bottlenecks and delays in worldwide supply chains, the manufacturer may have replaced individual components from the original specification with equivalent or even higher quality components. Therefore, the bicycle delivered may deviate from the images in certain cases.
Unless stated otherwise all of our bikes and brake accessories are sold according to the EU standard brake setup (right hand rear and left hand front) which is in reverse to UK standard brake setup.
Please note: the majority of our electronic products that come with plugs are fitted with 2-pronged EU plugs as standard. The operating voltage remains the same, however you may require an additional, simple EU to UK adapter to use them
Hardly any category is currently causing more of a stir than lightweight E-MTBs. And where new trends pop up - R Raymon is not far away! With three new models, Raymon will take off in this segment. Light e-bikes are the smart way to say goodbye to the superlatives faster, stronger and thus also heavier. For the three models, the strongest motor torque and the maximum battery capacity were deliberately not chosen, but rather care was taken to balance the three pillars - motor, battery and weight - harmoniously with each other.
Are you a sporty rider who doesn't shy away from hard trails or steep climbs? Or do you just want to enjoy a relaxed tour at the weekend? Then this way to the AirRay models.
How can you increase the maximum riding fun with an eMTB? With more power? Perhaps. With more range? Absolutely. But above all with more manoeuvrability, more classic riding feel that lets you experience your own power again and simply offers you more fun because it concentrates in all parts on what it is: a bike.
Weighing just 19.4 kg, the AirRay is a real lightweight. It allows you agile handling and offers a completely new riding experience. The specially developed AIR DRIVE powered by Yamaha weighs only 2.9 kg and supports you with a full 50 Nm. The Yamaha Interface X with minimalist LED display concentrates on the essential information: the battery status and the support mode. If desired, it can be supplemented with an additional display, for example from Sigma.
So that you can fully concentrate on your path and the surroundings in the terrain, the AIR DRIVE powered by Yamaha can take over the shifting if desired. Whether you need more thrust for acceleration or more power for steep climbs: In Automatic Support Mode, a sensor determines the right support mode in real time and selects it immediately for you.

Range
Can I get 50 miles from one battery charge or even 120? For those interested in buying an e-bike, this is a very important question. Manufacturers try to be as realistic as they can about possible ranges your e-bike may manage on one complete battery charge. In practice, however, the maximum range depends on many different factors. As well as the type of motor you have, factors include the energy content (400 or 500 Wh), handling and age of the battery. However, the rider's weight, sitting position, riding style (starting frequency, cadence) and selected support levels (Eco, Tour, Sport, Turbo) all greatly influence the range. Last but not least, the track profile (uphill or flat), the ground (road or terrain), wind (headwind, tailwind) and even tyre profile effect distances possible. This makes it extremely difficult to provide precise and reliable information.
