Fitted this fork to a Boardman road bike to which I had previously fitted air shocks, these however couldn't smooth out the bumps you got off the road - they were ok for large bumps off-road, with the Rockshox forks fitted however, there was a big improvement, they certainly smoothed out the normal road irregularities.
