EPS IN MOULD CONSTRUCTION
The in-mould technology allows the outer polycarbonate shell to be moulded with expandable polystyrene (EPS) directly during the injection phase of the shock-absorbing foam. The result is a much stiffer structure that is resistant to knocks and extremely light, allowing for a better ventilation system. The combined action of the EPS structure, the polycarbonate cap and the exoskeleton creates resistance to the mechanical action exerted by an impact and distributes the energy to prevent it being transferred to the head of the person wearing the helmet.
