Compression clothing has many functions, but one goal: to improve athletic performance. Compression socks have zones with different density to provide extra cushioning where needed and to maintain contact with the shoe to avoid any slippage. They are moisture wicking and temperature regulating and many are also antibacterial. Compression socks also provide shock absorbtion and ankle support to prevent rolling or twisting.
