EnRoute - to your personal best! The development process of the EnRoute has been based on Salmings Natural Running Support System - NRSS - a holistic approach which facilitates for every runner to find and stay in their natural running stride. EnRoute has quickly become a Salming icon - a running shoe that will stand the test of time, that you could run in no matter what foot strike or running form. In the second generation - Enroute 2 - the fully integrated ExoSkeleton has been refined and optimized to enhance the flexibility characteristics of the front foot upper. This has been made possible by moving back the entire ExoSkeleton unit. The 'neutral shoe' or 'cushioning shoe' is equipped without pronation support (the lateral support of the foot). These shoes are therefore suitable for runners who have regular rolling behaviour, i.e. who do not roll their feet inwards or outwards when running. The neutral shoe can be used for competition, for fast training and for long endurance sessions. The damping may vary depending on the application: in order to achieve more direct ground contact during competition, it is advisable to use only a slightly cushioned shoe. When training on hard surfaces or for long distances, more cushioned shoes offer better comfort and protect the joints.
