Lighter, anti-skidding, faster - Schwalbe Ice Spiker Pro is the turbo of spike tires! With 361 spikes it bites firmly into icy roads. The tungsten carbide core of each spike is clad in weight-saving aluminum. The scales stop at 695 g (LiteSkin carcass), so the MTB tire remains agile and sporty. LiteSkin Tires have light, thin sidewalls. Advantages: Weight saving and reduced rolling resistance. The SnakeSkin version is increased with an additional lightweight and flexible fabric lining on the sidewall, so it's less damageable by side injury.

Schwalbe Ice Spiker Pro SnakeSkin folding tires are featuring TL-Easy technology. The new standard for all Evo MTB tires. The new monofilament sidewall fabric surpasses the previous SnakeSkin fabric in three ways: Even greater cut resistance, higher penetration strength and above all: it makes Tubeless conversion extremely easy and safe!

I've been riding the Icespiker on my E-MTB for the first time this winter for years on my Biobike. Rim width and driving weight also fit perfectly according to the Schwalbe list. With low air pressure (1.8 to 2.0 bar), this tire offers unsurpassed grip on packed snow and ice without becoming slippery on asphalt. Break in tires on asphalt as recommended, replacing a stud occasionally. Simply great!
