I put the tire on my bike in October because I couldn't wait for winter. Marathon has almost a profile like a tractor and the spices mean that rolling resistance is higher than Big Ben, but much lower than the thick profile suggests. It is a bit strange when the tire starts to hum when cornering, as if you were pounding through high gravel, but after a period of getting used to it you know that you can absolutely rely on the tire. In the meantime I even drive dirty over wet leaves. That works great because the tire practically bites its way into the track.
If those two times are down, I'll definitely get some again. I'm looking forward to the snow and ice, because I feel extremely safe with the coat and always have the right grip on the road even in dangerous situations.
