Even with half the spikes, winter offers excellent control on smooth ice surfaces. Only in extreme corners is his big brother Marathon Winter superior to him. With 50 EPI carcasses, reflective strips and K-Guard, it offers excellent equipment at an entry-level price.
Active Line
The frame of all Active Line tyres is the high-quality 50 EPI carcass. Schwalbe no longer has any coarse 20 or 24 EPI carcasses, and K-Guard also provides effective puncture protection for all Active Line tyres. Breakdown protection level: 3.
K-guard
The Schwalbe minimum standard for protective belts. Proven for many years. The belt is made of natural rubber and reinforced with Kevlar fibre. Together with the 50 EPI carcass, all Active Line tyres are optimally protected against punctures.
Winter Compound
Special rubber compound for studded tyres.
