The forefather of all high-quality touring tyres. The GreenGuard inlay is made of highly elastic natural rubber and 3 mm thick. One third of the GreenGuard is made from recycled latex products. The "anti-aging" sidewall withstands typical overloads caused by insufficient air pressure for much longer before it gets ugly cracks. You can use all Marathon models on your E-Bike (E-25). The most important sizes are tested and approved for e-bikes up to 50 km/h (E-50).

The Schwalbe Tires is a trademark name of Ralf Bohle GmbH, a German maker of tyre for bicycles and wheelchairs. Schwalbe manufactures a wide selection of tires for various cycling uses, but its Marathon line is popular for its commute, tour, and multipurpose tires.

About the brand

The brand is Schwalbe. The company is called Bohle and has its center in Reichshof-Wehnrath and has been under the Bohle family since its inception in 1922; the business is presently run by the 3rd generation.

Schwalbe employs the cradle-to-cradle notion, Fairtrade rubber in select goods, and tire treads made from renewable and recycled raw resources.
