Product description

Sea to Summit Spark SpIII Sleeping Bag Regular light grey/yellow (light grey/yellow)

All Spark sleeping bags are characterised by their ultra-light weight, minimal packing size and excellent thermal performance. The SpIII's fully stitched vertical boxing chambers contain an extra amount of down and reduce cold bridges. The expedition size provides extra space for extra layers of clothing. The vertical chambers in the chest area optimize the distribution of the down and prevent slipping. The full-sided zipper with two sliders allows easy access and variable ventilation. A zipper channel, a hood and a heat collar prevent heat loss.

Ultra Dry Down
UltraDry Down is a PFC-free water-repellant treatment applied to the down used in all Sea to Summit sleeping bags. UltraDry Down retains over 60 % more loft, absorbs 30 % less moisture and dries out 60 % faster when compared to untreated down – which means the down will insulate better even in damp conditions. The treatment also inhibits bacterial growth, making your bag last longer.

Sea to Summit Spark SpIII Sleeping Bag Regular light grey/yellow
Dombrovski
Warm, light and comfortable
Translated from the German To the original
Have had this sleeping bag for some time on my list and slammed here because of the relatively low price. The sleeping bag is packable small and keeps extremely warm without being sweaty (inner material very comfortable on the skin). I last tested it at night in the woods with light rain and about 3 ° -5 ° in the bible bag (NL Goretex bivy). I left the closure half open (otherwise too warm) and was able to sleep through pleasantly. The material is thin, but does not feel fragile or vulnerable. Due to the very dense arrangement of the 10D / 7D fibers, the bag takes up the air after unpacking relatively slowly - it is therefore advisable to shake the sleeping bag well right after unpacking. For the same reason, it is also relatively tedious to pack the sleeping bag again, because the air remains stubbornly balloon-like in the bag. However, this speaks for positive insulation properties, since the warm air from the sleeping bag can not "diffuse out" so quickly. positive + very small pack size + very warm and pleasant on the skin + Zipper (almost) over the full length (unlike SP0 / 1/2) + Beautiful color - especially in the interior (makes beautiful atmosphere in the tent light) + Cozy hood + Not too tight (am 178, 78kg, athletic) Neutral o It takes a long time to build up o It is relatively tedious to pack the sleeping bag again, because the air escapes only with difficulty o the enclosed storage bag is too small in my opinion negative - Zipper is hakelig, because very small. I would rather wear 40-50g more with a 5mm zipper Tips: - do not compress too much in the enclosed compression bag - store open - e.g. in the wardrobe on a hanger - does not buy _ SP1 / SP2. The extra charge for the Sp3 is not too high compared to the total price. The higher total weight (+ 200g) is almost entirely attributable to the larger amount of down - Best SP0 for the midsummer (or Yeti Passion One with a full-zipper), SP3 for the (German) Autumn / Spring and SP0 + SP3 for the winter
