The new hydraulic 2-piston disc brakes fit seamlessly into the line-up of the Deore XT component group. They were developed to enable an aggressive riding style even in the most demanding terrain and at the same time provide safety reserves. The new stoppers use Shimano's Ice-Tech heat management system, which is used to design the brake calipers, compatible brake discs and pads.
