The SHIMANO Di2 EW-RS910 2-port connection box is a new part of the road electronics groupsets, aimed in particular at better integrating the connection elements on the cockpit.

Its installation, which can be done at the level of a handlebar plug or on the diagonal tube, requires special attention because it requires special compatibility of your handlebar - to pass through the cables - or of your frame, which must provide an opening to accommodate it. In this new configuration, it has two ports and must be connected with the EW-JC130 Y-cable.

Although the shape and design are changed for better integration, this junction box remains the central unit of the Di2 electronic system, its brain that sends the shifting commands to the front derailleurs. It can be paired with the E-Tube Project app on your smartphone via Bluetooth.

It allows you to power the battery and display its charge status via the two integrated LEDs. Thanks to its button, it is possible to pair the rear derailleur again after activating its protection function in the event of an impact. You can also change the use mode with the same button.
