HG-EV
The HG-EV cassette is used for gradation and cadence management adapted to the driver. Shimano offer the optimum gear ratio for 11-speed shifting systems. You can choose wider or narrower increments to suit your needs. With the HG-EV cassette, you get an 11-speed switching system without compromises in robustness and improved HYPERGLIDE switching function.

HOLLOWTECH II 
The concept of the HOLLOWTECH II technology was aimed at the production of an optimized crankset that minimizes the driver's effort for the drive. The high rigidity of the crankset ensures the efficiency of the power transmission when pedalling, while its low weight relieves the driver, especially over longer distances. The crankset was developed with a view to achieving an optimum ratio between stiffness and low weight. HOLLOWTECH technology allows extremely light, hollow crank arms to be produced using SHIMANO's exclusive forging technology to achieve maximum stiffness. In addition, with the HOLLOWTECH II crankset, the right crank is fixed to the bottom bracket axle, achieving an optimum balance between maximum rigidity and minimum weight. The external bottom bracket offers better weight distribution and stability for more efficient power transmission. The HOLLOWTECH II crankset has been designed with an optimum balance between stiffness and rotation efficiency as well as low weight and attractive appearance in mind.
