I had ordered the shoes for an alpine cross, as they should also be able to be used for pushing. I pedals with pins (so-called bear paws) on these the shoes are unfortunately not usable. This is due to the cover plate of the cleat screw connection, which is made of hard plastic. Unfortunately, this does not ensure a secure footing on the pins. The shoe was a bit narrow for my wide feet.

It's now my third pair over the years. The fit (individually different!) is ideal for me. The shoes are tight and are also suitable for sightseeing on bike tours. The Velcro strap provides additional support and secures the laces in a quick manner. The current model is a bit harder around the instep, but that went away after wearing it in. The sole is hard enough to ride, also clicked in, and also comfortable to walk on. A disadvantage is the wear of the sole around the click inserts, so that a replacement becomes necessary more quickly with click inserts.
