The result is mountain bike components that provide the right setup for almost every biker.The SL-M7000 shift levers are equipped with proven Rapidfire Plus technology and 2-way release to ensure consistent shifting performance with minimal operating forces. They are responsible for the high-precision, but ultra smooth shifting you experience with the new SLX.

2-Way Release
Rapidfire Plus levers are equipped with 2-Way Release (release in two directions). This means that the cable is released by pulling with the index finger or pressing with the thumb.

I-Spec II
Fastening system for the integration of shift and brake levers. The new I-Spec II with its narrow clamp provides a tidy appearance, less weight and more space on the handlebar. An elegant appearance and high-quality technologies distinguish Shimano's new SLX. The rider can shift down up to three gear steps with one shift stroke. br>

Very correct and versatile push button. Unbeatable Shimano quality. Very soft when pulsating but with clear and effective sensations. It allows to raise several pinions with a single pulsation in depth and to lower pinions using indistinctly thumb or index. We only miss the possibility of lowering two pinions at once, instead of lowering one by one with each press ..... for that we would have to go to the XT button.
