E-Thru Axle
The tool-free removable axle system optimises strength and load distribution and ensures trouble-free operation thanks to the reliable internal cam mechanism. The 15 mm thru-axle system is 15% more resistant to torsional forces and 25% more resistant to transverse shear forces than a conventional 9 mm front axle system with quick release. The unchanged high strength is in an optimal ratio to the weight. The E-Thru axle hub system minimises twisting of the suspension and is light enough even for sharp bends at high speeds. Alternatively available are an 8 mm removable axle system for trekking/ATB hubs or hub dynamos and a 12 mm removable axle system for the rear wheel.
