Fits all road and mountain bike frames with the Press-Fit standard of 89.5 mm or 92x41 mm on the bottom bracket housing and can be combined with all common Shimano HollowtechII cranks with 24 mm axle. Without thread, the SM-BBMT500-PA adapter is simply pressed into the bottom bracket housing. The press-in tool developed by Shimano for the latch was to be used for this purpose.
