Reach Adjust

DCL stands for DUAL CONTROL LEVER. It has braking and switching functions and is easy to operate. The improved ergonomics are probably even more important for the high standard than additional ratios. The technology of the new gearshift levers brings the stability of MTB technology and is so precise and smooth-running that it is possible to shift front and rear gears with just one finger, which is really a highlight of SHIMANO TOTAL INTEGRATION. Optislick
Optislick trains are equipped with a minimal, uniform galvanic coating, which enables more efficient train control and is characterized by excellent corrosion resistance.

SLR - SHIMANO Linear Response
SLR stands for SHIMANO Linear Response. The new SUPER SLR technology is based on a smoother operation of the brake calliper, lever and cable and optimises brake response and metering. The lever has the SERVOWAVE function. This allows the lining to quickly reach the rim. A long lever travel is then available for actual braking. The brake can thus be well dosed. SLR is the decisive factor for SHIMANO's dual pivot sidecar brakes being able to brake more strongly than conventional sidecar brakes.

OT-SP41
The OT-SP41's outer shell is pre-lubricated along its entire length with a special silicone lubricant to allow fast, precise shifting. The OT-SP41 reduces friction losses of the inner cable to an absolute minimum so that the gearshift responds quickly and is easy to operate. The driver is relieved by the omission of shifting delays and high effort during shifting, especially in terrain that requires frequent shifting or on long distances. The train cover is available in eight different colours to meet as many requirements as possible.
