Thanks to a converter, the gear lever can be used for both the 12-speed and 11-speed cassette of the M9100. Up to four gears can be shifted in one lever movement (Multi Release). The shift cable is released directly when the shift lever is actuated (Instant Release). Gear shifts can be initiated both by pressing and pulling the lever, allowing for versatile finger positions (2-Way Release).
