Spank Spike 800 Race Handlebar Ø31,8mm shotpeen blue

The Spike 800 Race now comes in a matt look - the handlebar for downhill racing. With this handlebar Spank Pro Riders are on their way in the World Cup. For those for whom the 800 mm width is too much of a good thing, there are special markings for shortening (including the old 777 mm length). 

CNC Bending
A special Spank bending and drawing process that ensures constant and precise production throughout the entire handlebar manufacturing process.

Dual XGT
Dual Extreme Gradual Taper describes the further development of the Spank XGT technology. This increases the wall thickness towards the handlebar end even further ("Impact Ends"). This makes the handlebars much more stable, which is especially important in crashes.

Impact Ends
The handlebar ends of all available Spank handlebars are massively reinforced to withstand even heavy falls, tension forces or impacts without suffering major damage.

MGR
Mechanical Grain Refinement describes the optimisation of the reduction of different aluminium grain sizes and structures. Spank rims, handlebars and stems benefit from the improved hardness and formability.
