Product description
SQlab 711 Tech & Trail 2.0 Grips
Ergonomic MTB grips for long distance and race.
The advantages of the grip are most noticeable at the end of a hard marathon, but they also increase the fun on long tours or crisp after-work laps. The 711 grip from SQlab has the perfect grip ergonomics for long-distance tours and racing on the sporty-oriented mountain bike. A thoughtful, very ergonomic shape provides special grip security and comfort. The clamping was moved from the outside to the inside during product development. This increases the damping and comfort on the outside of the hand. In addition, the outer contact surface was increased so that the comfort is at the level of a wing grip. As round as necessary and as flat as possible: In the 711 grip, the contact surface is pressed flat on the outside. This reduces pressure peaks many times over. The grip safety is supported by the Ergobar, a flat, slightly angular underside of the handle, and provides the perfect form fit. This allows the handle to be guided loosely and at the same time the bike can be controlled safely. Different rubber compounds provide a perfect grip level and high comfort. The high-quality materials guarantee a long service life and prevent the grip rubber from sticking. For optimum grip and comfort, the individual grip width is crucial, so the sizes of the 711 grips differ in diameter and shape.
Grip width and size
The grip width (cf. information on circumference) is the measurement from the tip of the middle finger to the crook of the thumb. Because that's exactly how you enclose the grip. SQlab grip sizes differ in diameter, length and shape.
Internal clamps for external comfort
In the 711 grip, the damping on the outside is optimized in detail by increasing the material there. In addition, the clamping is on the inside and the clamping sleeve is located only in the inner third of the handle. Accordingly, the handle is a little harder to mount, but with a little brake cleaner, it slips but quite easily on the handlebars and is bombproof after a few seconds.
angular and flat Ergoform
Handlebars are round. And because it's easy, grips are also usually round. But fingers are anything but round. They slip off more easily on something round. Only if the form fit perfectly, you have everything under control and control the bike. The Ergobar is a wave-shaped elevation on the underside. This results in a flat slightly angular grip underside, which is perfectly suited to your angular angled fingers. The slight undulation of the Ergobar replicates the varying finger length of your hand.
Pressure measurements
The flat contact surface and the plus of soft material on the outside of the SQLab 711 Tech and Trail grips
reduce the pressure to a completely new level in MTB grips. (These pressure measurements are taken with an electronic pressure measuring foil / mat).
Innerbarend ready
On the MTB long distance is recommended in any case the use of Innerbarends. The 711 grips are Innerbarend ready.
