Your gear group should always be ready so that you can climb up and drive off at any time. The Apex 1 is exactly this group. As a left brake lever for a 1x drive or as a pair for your singlespeed bike - the new Apex brake lever has the same ErgoFit ergonomics as known from the SRAM RED, but is cheaper with forged aluminum parts.
Ergodynamics
Thanks to longer brake levers, an independent grip width adjustment for brake and gear levers and an optimised lever shape, the levers are comfortable and easy to reach, even for drivers of different sizes.
Reach Adjust
The fit and ergonomics of the brake lever is a very personal matter. The drivers have individual position preferences as well as unique hand sizes and finger lengths. The grip width adjustment makes it easy to adjust the lever - for maximum control with just one finger.
