The GX Eagle AXS rear derailleur is so smart that it protects itself thanks to its incredibly robust overload clutch. Designed to suit a wide range of rider preferences, it is compatible with both the new extended range 10-52 and 10-50 cassette. The GX Eagle AXS rear derailleur is derived from the proven GX Eagle range and is there to get the job done.

CAGE LOCK
Thanks to the CAGE LOCK technology in the rear derailleur, removing and installing the rear wheel and chain is faster and easier than ever. Simply slide the cage forward (to release the chain tension) and lock.

ROLLER BEARING CLUTCH rear derailleurs offer maximum drivetrain stability - even on gruelling and highly demanding terrain. ROLLER BEARING CLUTCH technology puts an end to wobbly rear derailleurs and flapping chains - without sacrificing precision.

X-HORIZON
The parallelogram design of the X-HORIZON rear derailleur limits movement along the horizontal axis, eliminating ghost shifting and reducing shifting force. For faster and more precise shifting, the large offset of the upper shift pulley ensures constant chain spacing in each gear.

X-SYNC
X-SYNC 1x chainrings from SRAM ensure maximum performance and durability. SRAM's long X-SYNC tooth edges grip the chain earlier than traditional triangular teeth. The sharp and narrow tooth profile as well as the rounded slanted edges support the chain guide. To offer the best possible performance even in muddy terrain, the X-SYNC chainrings have recesses for the inner chain links and rollers to remove dirt and mud. Made in Germany, X-SYNC chainrings are an important component of SRAM's 1x drivetrain.

MatchMaker X Integrated
The MatchMaker X clamp is more than just a clamp. It's like Martha Stewart cleaning up your handlebars. With room for up to three controls on each clamp, you can mount everything from your XLoc shock lockout, SRAM shifters and SRAM/AVID brake levers to your Reverb XLoc remote on just two clamps. With the exception of a genetic manipulation to extend your thumbs, it's the ideal solution to keep everything within reach. All in Martha Stewart's interest.

Eagle technology represents the latest 1x drive technology. Eagle is a lighter, simpler, more durable and easier to use drive. Eagle features brand new 1x components that provide even greater durability and performance while offering a significant weight advantage over other drive solutions. Eagle technology also has an extended gear ratio range of 520%, making it similar to 2x11 drives.

AXS
AXS is SRAM's new bike component integration system that connects electronic bike components and software. The SRAM AXS app allows riders to see battery status, change component behaviour, personalise controls, receive maintenance reminders and update firmware.
