Flattop
In order to offer Deep Range technology, SRAM's engineers had to develop a narrower chain. The unique joint shape of Flattop technology not only made this narrower chain possible, but also resulted in quieter operation, increased strength and durability.

PowerLock
SRAM engineers have developed PowerLock as a tool-free, safe and constant way of connecting the chains. Although no special tools are required for mounting with PL, each PowerLock can only be used once, given the narrow tolerance range of an 12-speed drive.
